The Village Society hold most of our meetings in Alvechurch Village Hall. This is on Bear Hill in the centre of the village and is heavily used for a wide variety of activities for all ages of the community.

The door at the uphill end of the building leads to the main hall, which holds 100, with a stage, kitchen, toilets, including disabled toilet and access. The door at the gable end leads to the Committee Room, kitchen and toilets. The hall continues to be refurbished. Click here for details.

 

As you can see, the parking in front of the hall is limited but there is another car park off Tanyard Lane behind the hall. The hall's postcode is B48 7JX (map) and this will lead you to the front door of the hall on Bear Hill. If you are following a SatNav then go to B48 7LN instead. This will take you into Tanyard Lane where there is a large free car park. The entry is behind the Red Lion and opposite the new housing development.
